Autumn Fashion Essentials
I love the change of seasons, the way it feels like we all get a fresh start. Autumn is the season of transition, nature's 'last hoorah' before retiring into winter's slumbering mood. But not only does autumn symbolise changes in nature, it is also our cue to peel away the covers that have held our warm fashion essentials so snug during the summer months, giving us permission to bring them out to play. In saying this, it's difficult to plan for Perth's autumn...as it's very much like Perth's summer. The rain will come in the winter months so during autumn we can use the weather to our advantage. Like pairing a summery dress with a leather jacket and ankle boots or wearing a midi skirt, silk camisole and trench, something too hot for summer, yet too cool for winter.
Here's my version of autumn dressing featuring a few of my autumn fashion essentials: Vice boots from ZU Shoe, motorcycle leather jacket from Zara, black felt hat from Aritzia (similar Lack of Color hats from here or LA hat designer Janessa Leone hat's here), Witchery cream drape front shirt, Karen Walker flower cluster ring, Country Road motorcycle jeans (similar navy motorcycle jeans from Country road here) and vintage Coach satchel bag.
