Give a Frock to support women experiencing homelessness

There are more than 22,000 Victorians experiencing homelessness, with almost half of them being women. Over 500 women access Sacred Heart’s The Women’s House for support. These women are often experiencing difficulties including family violence, poverty, sexual abuse, physical and mental illness and drug and alcohol use.

Give a Frock Campaign

I am proud to support 2019’s Sacred Heart Mission’s ‘Give A Frock’ campaign. The campaign aims to raise funds for The Woman’s House to help rebuild lives.

This year’s campaign includes two ambassadors, fashion columnist, reporter and stylist at the Herald Sun and Weekly Times, Anna Byrne and fashion-stylist Elliot Garnaut. We will also see an iconic new op shop location on Chapel Street open.

“Anyone can easily get involved with ‘Give A Frock’ by donating outfits, hosting their own ‘frock’ party, by shopping at any of Sacred Heart Mission’s op shops or attending any of our fashion events,” Elliot says

“By gathering your friends together, donating a quality dress, or even shoes - you are directly raising funds for Sacred Heart Mission and helping to provide a welcoming, safe space to women in our community who need it most."

Sacred heart Give a Frock
Fashion shouldn’t just make you look good; it should make you feel good. I am so thrilled to be a 2019 Ambassador for Give A Frock and support a charity by women, for women. It’s time to clean out our wardrobes for a great cause.
