Taste of Perth

Taste of Perth launches May 2nd-4th in Langley Park on the waterfront. Marking the finale for the month-long Eat Drink Perth festival, Taste will celebrate all that Perth's food, wine and artisanal produce has to offer. This is Taste festival's debut in Perth. Since launching Taste of London ten years ago, Taste festivals have expanded to eighteen cities around the world, including Cape Town, Dubai, Auckland, Amsterdam, Moscow, Milan and, for the past seven years, Sydney and Melbourne. This year, along with Perth, Taste is also debuting in Oslo and Toronto.

It will be a glorious weekend full of sampling dishes from ten of Perth's top restaurants including Bistro Guillaume, el Publico, Greenhouse, Lalla Rookh, Nobu, Print Hall and Silks. As well as the pop-up restaurants, there will be master classes, cooking demonstrations, live entertainment, and exhibitors including wineries and artisanal producers. Festival goers will be able to meet brewers and taste local and imported beers at the Beer Hall, take part in expert wine tastings and cocktail master class, and enjoy ciders and DJ-tunes at the Rekorderlig Cider Bar.

The official currency of Taste is 'Crowns', which diners will use to make purchased from the pop-up restaurants and producer's booths. Crowns can be purchased in advance with tickets online, or at the event itself. 1 Crown equals $1. Tasting size signature dishes will be priced from 6 to 12 Crowns, with restaurant ‘Icon Dishes’ priced between 15 to 25 Crowns.
