While pinning on my Pinterest account, I came across a wonderful designer named Stella Jean. Half-Haitian, half-Italian model turned fashion designer, Stella's pieces are bold, lively and feminine. Incorporating tribal prints, influenced by her Creole heritage, with a modern aesthetic, her designs have a charming ladylike edge. Her latest collection, Spring Summer 2013, is a combination of clashing prints styled with brightly coloured turbans, brooches, hats and jeweled cuffs that add a whimsical touch to the outfits. Playful and unique, timeless and oh so wearable, I'm sure you will fall in love with Stella Jean's designs as I did.

I found this wonderful tribal, fur 'n' feather donned Vogue Germany fashion editorial shot by Ruven Afanador and fell in love. It dates back to December 2002 but in no way does the shoot look passé. Instead of focussing on trend, it focusses on fashion as an art form and the talent of the artists that made it happen; photographer, stylist, model and makeup artist. The shoot is beautiful, timeless and inspiring.
