NYCB Art Series, Les Ballets de Faile

To launch the NYCB Art Series, the New York City Ballet has teamed up with talented Brooklyn-based artists FAILE to make an original contemporary art work inspired by the Company.

The seemly contrasting elements, classical ballet and retro street art, have been combined to create an eye-catching 40-foot tall tower installation that will be inside the Lincoln Center. Made entirely out of individual wooden blocks, each side is painted with a different image.
