The Perfect Summer Dress
Summer is almost upon us. I love this time of year when the new season styles and silhouettes hit the stores. This year it is all about the 1930s and 1940s midi style silhouette with lightweight fabrics skimming the body and accentuating the waist. I love this style because it’s so overtly feminine and perhaps too because it suits my body shape.
I ordered this Free People Love of my Life dress from Shopbop and fell in love with the fit of it. I want it in every colour but I know that’s not very conscious consumer of me so I’ll remain with my one in black for now. I also ordered a pair of Castaner espadrilles in the 85mm, the ideal shoe for summer. Comfortable with the wedge but great for day events where you still want a bit of height.
